Ashley leads England to Gold in World Karate Championships
Ashley Scott, a member of staff at Thomas Heald, competed at the World Shotokan Karate Association (WSKA) Championships in Chicago over the weekend of 17th & 18th September.
Ashley was competing for the England Team and led them to victory in the Team Kumite (fighting) event, where they beat Poland 3-0 in the final. Ashley fought and beat Marta Dabrowska who had earlier taken the individual Silver.
She's now got a few days rest before having to get back into training for the European Shotokan Karate Association Championships which are being held in Bielsko-Biala, Poland in November!
