With the forthcoming budget and general election looming on the horizon, it is even more important to consider the balance of your portfolio and think about possible winners for the remainder of the year ahead. Most analysts have predicted modest returns from UK equities in 2010 due to the economic and political uncertainty, but there are some sectors that may be worth considering as we look forward over the remainder of the year.
