The first record I ever bought was... “A Whiter Shade of Pale” by Procol Harum
What really gets your goat? Road rage – I just don’t get why some people behave in this way. What happens to them when they get into a car?
Choose an epitaph… "Nothing's so sacred as honour" and "Nothing's so loyal as love"
What’s your favourite possession? That would have to be my Fender Electric guitar – if only I could do it justice!
What do you never leave the house without? Not that I have never forgotten it but I hate leaving without my Blackberry – I’m a bit of a gadget fan and it’s just so convenient to have so many applications on one device.
What have you learnt from parenthood? You can’t win an argument with a teenager so don’t let them draw you in!
Who would you have play you in a film? Jack Nicholson – great actor I love all his films.
What’s the best thing about work? Helping people to achieve financial security and realise their goals.
You’re thirsty. What’s your poison? If I was thirsty it would be a cold beer otherwise I like a nice glass of red wine.
You’re hungry. What’s your nectar? I love nuts of any sort as a nibble.
And the devil’s spawn? Raw tomatoes.
Dogs or cats? Discuss. I have a Miniature Schnauzer called Rufus and he is good as gold so I would have to say dogs.
UFOs. They’re out there, right? Not sure about little green men in flying saucers but if the universe is infinite then there must be life somewhere else - mustn’t there?
What’s the most fun you can have without laughing? Dusk on a warm summer evening and I’m casting a fly for a rising trout.
Marmite. Yes or no? Yes love the stuff -- its daily fare.
Oysters. Yes or no? Only if washed down with a cold Guinness.
Reality TV. Your verdict. Dreadful – lets get back to people gaining fame and fortune for having talent.
Pick a moment that brought a tear to your eye. The scene in the film the Champ when he was dying and his son was trying to wake him up – incidentally I saw this film on a coach trip with a bunch of other guy’s over 20 years ago and when the lights came on there was not a dry eye anywhere!
Have you ever walked out of a film? No – if its dull I fall asleep instead.
From Sean Connery to Daniel Craig. Which 007 does it best? Must say Daniel Craig comes a close second as a newcomer but Sean Connery definitely the number one.
Explain gravity in a single sentence. Granny Smiths fall downwards!
What do your clients really want? Advice they understand from an adviser they can trust.
